Registrar

Educational Qualifications

Essential: Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or its equivalent grade. At least 15 years of experience as Lecturer/Reader of which 8 years should be in the Reader’s grade along with experience in Educational Administration. Or, comparable experience in Research Establishments and other institutions of Higher Education

OR

At least 15 years of administrative experience out of which 8 years should be as Deputy Registrar or on an equivalent position in a University or Government Organization.

Mode and Duration of Appointment

The Appointment of the Registrar will be for a period of 5 years or on deputation for a period of 5 years.

The maximum age should not be more then 55 years as on 1st July 2009. (The retirement age for the post is 60 years.)

 Any relaxation in qualifications will be as per the UGC norms.
