The University initiated a postgraduate diploma programme in Development Studies in 2008-2009 and three full MA programmes in 2009-2010 through the Schools of Development Studies, Human Ecology and Human Studies.

We invite applications from teachers and researchers as well as practitioners in non-academic environments.  We intend to recruit and nurture academics contributing to interdisciplinary knowledge areas as well as those working in conventional academic disciplines. We follow a system of appointing a teacher as faculty concurrently in two or more Schools according to his/her interest and expertise and the needs of the University.

Conditions of service, incentives and allowances are similar to those at Central Universities. Appointments can also be made on deputation or on renewable contracts for fixed terms.
