AUD Logo

Logo

The tree motif in the AUD logo is a faithful adaptation of the Bodhi Tree depicted on a panel in the Sanchi Stupa complex. The Bodhi tree is representative of the Buddha and symbolizes enlightenment. In the Logo it forms the background to a diamond arrangement of the acronym of the University which exploits the rotation symmetry of a simplified and stylized adaptation of the three majuscules A, U and D.
