MA Gender Studies Entrance Test
The admission procedure for MA Gender
Studies Programme will comprise a written test only. The
duration of this test shall be 2 hours. Those qualifying for the
test are requested to read 'Library Girl', a short story by
Vishwapriya L Iyengar's (1990), and 'Role Play', a chapter from
V Geetha's Gender (2002). Please click on the links below

The test will
consist of essay style questions. These questions will be based
on these two texts, and on knowledge and awareness of
contemporary issues. The aim is to assess the candidates’
analytical ability, and language and reflective skills.
